MEMORISE: “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” — 1 John 5:11
I. THE DEFINITIVE RECORD: ETERNAL LIFE IS A PRESENT REALITY
There is an absolute, non-negotiable spiritual decree established in the courts of Heaven: Eternal life is not an abstract concept, a religious ideal, or a reward reserved exclusively for the future!
It is located, defined, personalized, and experienced in one Person alone—the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
Notice the precise, deliberate, and absolute language of the Holy Spirit through the Apostle John. He did not say God might give us eternal life, nor did he state that God will give us eternal life when we finally reach Heaven. The Scripture uses the decisive past tense: God HATH GIVEN to us eternal life!

Look at the absolute simplicity and finality of 1 John 5:12 (NIV):
He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” — 1 John 5:12 NIV
This statement cuts through human opinion, cultural background, philosophical speculation, and religious association. The Spirit of God reduces the entire human equation to one single diagnostic question: Do you have the Son?
If you have received Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior, then you possess eternal life right now! You do not hope for it; you do not pray to receive it in the sweet by-and-by; it is your present legal and vital possession!
II. FROM SPECULATION TO UNCONTENTIOUS KNOWLEDGE
Why did the Spirit write these profound truths? The answer is revealed in 1 John 5:13 (NIV):
“I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” — 1 John 5:13 NIV

- "I hope I make it." - "God has given life!" - "I KNOW I have eternal
- "I assume I am saved." - "It is in His Son!" life in my spirit right
- "Maybe after death..." - "I have the Son!" now!"
God does not want His children living in a state of spiritual uncertainty, guessing, or hoping that they are redeemed. He wants you to KNOW with absolute, unshakeable inner conviction that you have eternal life!
The Greek word used for “know” in 1 John 5:13 is “Eido,” which means to know with absolute certainty, to perceive, to recognize, and to be fully aware of an undeniable fact.
When you know that you have eternal life, you stop praying like a victim. You stop begging God for what He has already deposited inside your spirit. You begin to walk with the supreme confidence of a champion who carries the uncreatable life of the Almighty God within their human body!
III. THE NATURE OF ETERNAL LIFE: RECREATION, NOT IMPROVEMENT
What exactly is eternal life? Many confuse eternal life with “immortality” or endless duration of existence. But even those who suffer eternal damnation will exist endlessly. Eternal life is not merely a quantity of time; it is a QUALITY OF LIFE!

Eternal life is “Zoe”—the very life, nature, righteousness, and energy of God Himself imparted directly to your spirit the moment you are born again!
Crucially, Zoe does not coexist with your old human life; IT SUPPLANTS IT!
This is why the Lord Jesus declared with absolute urgency in John 3:7: “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.”
When you were born again:

God did not repair your old human nature.

He did not polish or reform your fallen personality.

He did not merely give you a fresh moral start.
He eradicated your old spiritual nature and recreated your spirit! As 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, if any man be in Christ, he is a brand-new species of being—old things are passed away, and behold, all things are become new!
As a born-again believer, your true origin is divine. Look at John 1:13:
“Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” — John 1:13
You are not sustained by human blood; your spirit is animated, energized, and sustained by the unkillable, indestructible divine life of God!
IV. MANIFESTING DIVINE DOMINION OVER SICKNESS AND FEAR
If this divine life—Zoe—is truly residing inside your spirit, then it MUST find active expression in your physical body and daily circumstances!

Eternal life is not passive; it is active, dynamic, and full of divine authority. It possesses the inherent capacity to impart life to everything it comes into contact with!
This is why you have the spiritual authority to live completely above:
Sickness and Disease: Sickness cannot comfortably inhabit a body that is energized by Zoe. When symptoms attack your body, you do not panic. You stir up the divine life within you and enforce your legal right to divine health!
Fear and Anxiety: Fear is a demonic spirit of bondage, but Zoe brings the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
The World’s Elements: You are no longer subject to the corruption, economic collapse, or failure that governs this earthly realm.
In John 10:10 (NIV), Jesus reveals the grand purpose of His incarnation:
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10 NIV
He came so that you would possess Zoe to its absolute overflow! When you walk in this high-level consciousness daily, you step out of the realm of ordinary human limitations and continuously manifest the extraordinary, miraculous life of God!
V. PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You from the depth of my heart for imparting Your uncreatable, eternal life—Zoe—to my spirit, making me a full partaker and associate of Your divine nature! I live today with the deep, unwavering consciousness of this divine life active within me. I express Your righteousness, manifest Your radiant glory, and walk in absolute dominion over sickness, fear, poverty, and adverse circumstances. I walk in the full reality of who I am in Christ Jesus, impacting my world with Your divine life, in the matchless Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
VI. FURTHER STUDY SUMMARY
John 3:16 (KJV): The foundational proclamation of the Gospel: God’s boundless love for the world impelled Him to give His only begotten Son, guaranteeing that whoever places their faith in Him will not perish or succumb to destruction, but possesses everlasting, incorruptible life (Zoe).
1 John 5:12–13 (KJV): The Spirit establishes a clear spiritual divide: possessing the Son equals possessing divine life, while rejecting the Son means lacking life entirely. John explicitly writes these truths to believers so that they move beyond assumption into absolute, unshakeable knowledge of their present possession of eternal life.
John 10:10 (NIV): Jesus contrasts the destructive mission of the enemy—who comes exclusively to steal, kill, and destroy—with His own divine mission: bringing humanity into the experience of life in its richest, most abundant, and overflowing fullness.
VII. BIBLE IN ONE YEAR SUMMARY: ROMANS 8:18–39 & PSALMS 70–73
Romans 8:18–39: Paul delivers one of the most magnificent chapters in holy writ. He declares that the present sufferings of this age are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory that shall be revealed in us. He describes all of creation groaning and waiting eagerly for the manifestation of the sons of God. Paul reveals that the Holy Spirit actively helps our weaknesses, interceding for us with groanings that cannot be uttered according to the will of God. He outlines the divine golden chain of redemption: those God foreknew, He predestined, called, justified, and glorified! Paul concludes with an explosive chant of victory: “If God be for us, who can be against us?” He asserts that nothing—neither tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, sword, angels, principalities, nor things present or to come—can ever separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, declaring, “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us!”
Psalms 70–73:
Psalm 70: A urgent, impassioned cry from David pleading with God to make haste to help and deliver him, desiring that those who seek his hurt be turned back and put to confusion while those who love God’s salvation continually rejoice.
Psalm 71: An inspiring prayer of lifelong faith and reliance on God from youth to old age. The psalmist vows to declare God’s righteousness and wondrous works continuously, asking that God not forsake him when his strength fails in advanced years, declaring that his tongue shall talk of God’s righteousness all the day long.
Psalm 72: A royal messianic psalm foretelling the righteous, peaceful, and expansive reign of the King’s Son. It depicts His kingdom extending from sea to sea, delivering the needy, redeeming souls from violence, and filling the entire earth with the glory of the Lord.
Psalm 73: Asaph wrestles with the apparent prosperity of the wicked and the trials of the godly until he enters the sanctuary of God! In the sanctuary, his perspective is corrected: he sees the slippery, perilous places where the wicked stand and their sudden destruction. Asaph reaffirms his total reliance on God: “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
VIII. BIBLE IN TWO YEAR SUMMARY: EPHESIANS 6:1–9 & ISAIAH 56
Ephesians 6:1–9: Paul outlines practical instructions for Christian households and social structures. He commands children to obey their parents in the Lord and honor their father and mother—the first commandment with a promise of long life and prosperity. He instructs fathers not to provoke their children to wrath, but to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Paul addresses servants (employees), urging them to obey their masters with fear, trembling, and singleness of heart as unto Christ—not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ doing the will of God from the heart. Likewise, he commands masters to treat servants with respect and refrain from threatening, remembering that they also have a Master in Heaven who shows no partiality.
Isaiah 56: God calls for justice and righteousness, pronouncing a rich blessing upon everyone who keeps the Sabbath from polluting it and keeps their hand from doing evil. God issues a heartwarming promise of radical inclusion to foreigners and eunuchs who join themselves to the Lord: He promises to give them a name better than of sons and daughters within His holy house! God declares, “For mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.” The chapter concludes with a stern prophetic rebuke against Israel’s blind, greedy, and irresponsible watchmen and shepherds who indulge in drunkenness while ignoring the flock.
IX. PROPHETIC DECREE
I decree and declare that on this Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the divine life of God—Zoe—saturates every cell of your spirit, soul, and physical body!
Every trace of sickness, infirmity, fatigue, and weakness in your flesh is completely swallowed up by the life of God right now!
You step out of spiritual doubt and into absolute, unshakeable knowledge that you possess eternal life!
I decree that fear, anxiety, and depression have no legal hold over your mind!
Because you are born of God and animated by His divine nature, you rise above the economic pressures, corruption, and failure of this present world!
You walk today as a true associate of the God-kind—reigning in life, commanding circumstances to align with God’s Word, and manifesting the extraordinary glory, power, and righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ in everything you touch, in the mighty and matchless Name of Jesus Christ! Amen! Hallelujah!
