CALLED TO LIVE THE DIVINE LIFE: BEYOND HUMAN RELIGION

THE SCRIPTURAL ANCHOR: THE MIRROR OF THE SPIRIT

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” — (1 JOHN 4:17)

I. THE ESSENCE OF CHRISTIANITY: REVELATION VS. IMITATION

In this year 2026, it is imperative that the believer understands the true definition of their existence. I have often emphasized a profound truth that distinguishes our faith from every other religious system: Christianity is not the imitation of Christ. Religion teaches men to “try” to be like God—to mimic His kindness, to copy His patience, and to struggle to act like Him. While there is certainly a place for following the example of Jesus, Christianity itself is far more radical. It is Christ in you. It is the literal, pulsating life of the Son of God lived through a human body. We do not act like Him to become like Him; we act like Him because His very nature is already in us. We walk like Him because His Spirit—the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead—now inhabits our physical frames. You are full of His glory, power, righteousness, and dominion because you possess His life.

II. YOU ARE THE WORD MADE FLESH

The Apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Spirit, gives us a stunning description of our identity in 2 Corinthians 3:3. He declares that you are “manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ… written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God.”

1. The Living Message

An “epistle” is a letter or a message. This means you are Christ’s personal message to the world. You are not just reading the Word; you have become the Word. Just as the Lord Jesus was the “Logos” (the Word) made flesh, you are now the Word expressed in human form.

2. The Current Reality

Look at our anchor verse again: “As he is, so are we in this world.” It does not say “as He was” or “as we shall be when we get to heaven.” It says as He is. * Is He sick? No. Then you have no business being sick.

Is He defeated? No. Then you are more than a conqueror.

III. ACTING OUT YOUR DIVINE IDENTITY

Identity remains a theory until it is acted upon. You must “act out” your divine life. The Word of God is your script. When the Bible says you are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21), don’t argue with it—act it out! When it says you are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10), stop looking for “something more” to make you whole.

1. Your Divine Origin

Your origin is not biological; it is divine. You hail from God. This is why 1 John 4:4 is your victory chant: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” You didn’t overcome by your own strength; you overcame because the One living inside you is the Almighty.

2. Breaking Natural Limits

Refuse to see yourself from a natural standpoint. You may have been born into a certain family, nationality, or social class, but your new birth has made you an associate of the God-kind. You are a “partaker of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). In the Greek, this is theios phusis—you share in the very “DNA” of the Creator.

IV. THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE GOD-BEING

Christianity is a life of glory, power, and constant fellowship with the Spirit. It is a life where God talks to you, and His Word inspires an unshakeable faith, love, and courage.

1. The Prophetic Declaration

This is why the Psalmist declared in Psalm 82:6: “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High.” Jesus Himself reiterated this in John 10:34-35, stating that the Scripture cannot be broken. If God called them gods unto whom the Word came, what does that make you, who actually has the Word living inside you?

2. Immortality and Excellence

You have been brought into life and immortality. You have been called to glory and virtue (excellence). This is not a “future hope”; it is your current life. It is the divine life!

V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: WALKING IN THE DIVINE LIFE

Q1: If I am a ‘God-being,’ why do I still experience challenges?

Answer: The challenges are not there to define you; they are there for you to exercise your dominion over them. Even Jesus faced the storm, but He stilled it. Challenges are the “bread” for your faith. They provide the opportunity for the Christ-life in you to be manifested to the world.

Q2: How do I practically ‘act out’ this life every day?

Answer: It starts with your speech. Stop saying “I am sick,” “I am tired,” or “I am broke.” Those are natural confessions. Speak the Word! Say, “The life of God is in me,” “I have the wisdom of Christ,” and “I walk in favor.” Your life will always gravitate toward your confession.

Q3: Does this mean I am no longer human?

Answer: You have a human body, but you are a spirit being with the nature of God. You are an “ambassador” from another realm. While you walk the earth, your operations, your source, and your life-support system are from the Kingdom of God.

VI. THE 2026 PROPHETIC CHALLENGE: MANIFESTING THE KINGDOM

In 2026, the world is looking for more than “religion.” It is looking for the manifestation of the sons of God.

  • When you walk into a room, the atmosphere should change.

  • When you speak, wisdom should flow.

  • When you lay hands on the sick, they should recover.

This is your calling. You are the manifestation of the realities of the Kingdom in your office, your school, and your city. Live with this consciousness today. You are not a victim; you are a victor by nature!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the honor of calling me to a life of glory, excellence, and power. I rejoice in the truth that Christ is alive in me—His wisdom, His strength, and His righteousness are fully expressed through my life today. I refuse to see myself from a natural perspective or be limited by the systems of this world. I live the divine life, manifesting your nature and your glory to my world, in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
