RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL
MESSAGE BY: PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME
HERALDS OF A MESSAGE THAT WORKS: THE GLOBAL DISSEMINATION OF DIVINE REALITY
THE SCRIPTURAL MANDATE
“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it” — (PSALM 68:11)
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a mere philosophical construct, nor is it a religious suggestion designed to offer moral comfort to the weary. It is the “Power of God unto salvation” (Romans 1:16). Today, Thursday, April 16th, 2026, we stand at a pivotal moment in human history—the “Fourth Watch” of the spirit—where the mandate to publish this Word has moved from a general command to a strategic, global necessity.
The Master’s instructions were unequivocal. In Mark 16:15, He declared, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This is a jurisdictional command. It means there is no geographic territory, no social strata, and no linguistic group that is exempt from the influence of the Kingdom. In these last days, we are witnessing a phenomenon where God’s Word is penetrating the “unreachable.” From the high-tech urban centers of the West to the remote, unmapped villages of the global south, the Word is impacting lives on every continent with surgical precision and supernatural force.
THE DYNAMICS OF THE MESSAGE
We must understand our role in this grand design. We are not the authors of this message; we are its Heralds, Interpreters, and Publishers. #### 1. The Apostolic Foundation
The apostles and prophets of old were the primary recipients. By the Holy Spirit, they caught the “Rhema” of God and, by that same Spirit, they codified it into the written Word. They laid the foundation, pouring their lives into the initial dissemination of the Truth. However, the relay race did not end with them.
2. The Contemporary Scene
Today, we are the ones on the scene. We have taken the baton of the ancient prophets and the early church apostles. Our role is the expansion and translation of that foundational truth. We are leveraging the technology of 2026—digital connectivity, AI-driven translation, and global distribution networks—to ensure that the Word is not just available, but accessible and understandable in every language known to man. When you translate the Word, when you sponsor a devotional, or when you share a digital link, you are part of that “Great Company” mentioned in Psalm 86:11.
A MESSAGE THAT PRODUCES RESULTS
The reason we are so passionate about this mission is that we are heralds of a Message that Works. This isn’t a dead letter; it is living and active. Every testimony that reaches our headquarters affirms this:
Salvation: The fundamental shift of a human spirit from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of God.
Healing & Restoration: The literal repair of biological tissue and the emotional mending of shattered lives.
Resurrection: The power that defies the law of death and decomposition.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His power is not a historical artifact; it is a current reality. When we speak the Word, the Spirit of God acts. The Gospel is the only solution to the multifaceted crises facing the world in 2026.
THE REWARD OF THE LABORER
We must never lose sight of the eternal implications of our work. One day, the curtain of time will be drawn back, and every laborer in the Gospel—the preacher in the pulpit, the interpreter behind the scenes, the translator at the desk, the giver in the pew, and the distributor in the street—will stand before the Master.
Not one effort will go unnoticed. Not one kobo spent on the Gospel, not one hour spent in intercession, and not one tear shed for the lost will be forgotten. Therefore, refuse to be weary! In an age of “compassion fatigue” and spiritual apathy, let your passion be unquenchable. The stakes are too high for us to play small.
THE DEPTH OF THE HUMAN NEED
The world desperately needs the Gospel for salvation, but it goes deeper than that. Once saved, the nations must be taught.
-
They must know their Rights and Privileges as citizens of Heaven.
-
They must discover their Heritage in Christ.
-
They must embrace their Identity as New Creations.
The joy of the Master is that the “strangers” of the world become His Joint-Heirs, reigning with Him over the affairs of life. The earth belongs to Him. While the nations argue over borders and resources, we know that His Kingdom is universal. He came here, into this tiny part of His vast creation, to give His life for His “Peculiar Treasure”—the human race.
WE ARE THE SOLUTION
In a 2026 world characterized by systemic trouble, socioeconomic confusion, and pervasive fear, we are the answer. We are not just “surviving” the times; we are the “Hope of the Nations.” Every life transformed makes the mission worth it. Every soul won is a validation of the divinity of the Gospel.
We are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We are the stewards of the “Message of Reconciliation,” ensuring that God is no longer counting men’s trespasses against them but offering them the Life of His Son.
THEOLOGICAL EXPOSITION: THE PUBLISHING POWER
The word “published” in Psalm 68:11 is significant. It implies more than just speech; it implies a formal declaration and wide-scale distribution. It is the “Mega-Phone” of the Spirit.
The Word was given by the Lord: The source is divine.
The Company was Great: The distribution is massive.
This suggests that the effectiveness of the Gospel in any generation is tied to the size and zeal of the company that publishes it. We are that company. Our work is critical. If we stop, the world remains in darkness. If we continue, the “Knowledge of the Glory of the Lord” will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.
FURTHER STUDY: THE BEAUTY OF THE MISSION
In Romans 10:13-15, Paul lays out the logical necessity of our mission:
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
This is the “Preacher’s Chain.” It begins with a Sender, continues through a Messenger, reaches a Hearer, leads to Belief, and results in Calling on the Lord for salvation. We are the vital link in this chain. Without the herald, the message is unheard. Without the hearing, the faith is un-ignited.
Furthermore, 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 reminds us of our diplomatic status:
“God… entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ…”
An ambassador does not speak his own opinion; he represents the interests of his home country. Our home country is Zion. Our message is Peace. Our objective is the total reconciliation of the world to God.
REFLECTION & ACTION POINT
Think about the billions of people who will wake up tomorrow without the knowledge of Christ. Think about the cities in 2026 that are currently shrouded in spiritual darkness. Then, look at the Word of God in your hands. You are the answer they are looking for.
Today’s Action: 1. Ponder: The value of one soul.
2. Propagate: Share the Word today with at least three people—physically or digitally.
3. Partner: Commit a fresh seed to the translation and distribution of the Word in a language you don’t even speak.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for the supreme privilege of being a herald of the Gospel of Peace. I thank You for the honor of publishing Your divine truths and bringing the light of salvation to the very ends of the earth. I declare that I am empowered by Your Spirit to take this Gospel everywhere—into the boardrooms, the classrooms, the hospitals, and the streets.
I am a vital part of the “Great Company” of publishers. Through my efforts, my prayers, and my giving, the knowledge of Christ spreads rapidly and prevails over every form of darkness. I am a solution provider. I am the hope of my world. Nations are coming to my light, and kings to the brightness of my rising. In the Name of Jesus, I manifest Your glory and excellence to every creature. Amen.

HYMNAL MEDITATION: THE HERALD’S CRY
As you go through your day, let the words of the Master ring in your spirit. We are not just “witnesses” of the Word; we are “publishers” of the Word. To publish is to make public. To publish is to declare it as a matter of law. To publish is to make it irreversible.
You are a Herald of a Message that Works! Go forth in this consciousness and dominate your world today. Hallelujah!
