THE SCRIPTURAL ANCHOR: THE SECRET OF JESUS’ SUCCESS

“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” — (ACTS 10:38)

I. UNDERSTANDING THE ANOINTING: PERSON OVER POSITION

In this glorious year of 2026, it is vital that every believer gains a precise, accurate knowledge of the Holy Spirit. In our opening verse, we see the secret of the Master’s earthly ministry. Jesus was called the Anointed One—the Christ, the Messiah, the Chosen One. But how did this “anointing” actually function?

Many in the religious world have been confused about the operation of the Spirit. They speak of the “Holy Spirit upon” as being a separate experience from the “Holy Spirit within.” They treat the anointing as a garment you put on and take off, or as a “force” that rests on a pulpit or a title. But that is not what the New Testament teaches.

In the New Covenant, the Holy Spirit comes upon you for the singular purpose of entering into you. He doesn’t come upon you just to stay on the surface. He comes to possess you, to inhabit you, and to merge His life with yours. God never anointed an “office.” He didn’t anoint “The Presidency” or “The Bishopric.” God anoints people. The anointing is deeply personal because it is the Person of the Holy Spirit taking up residence inside a human being.

II. THE CONSECRATION OF THE TEMPLE

To understand the depth of what happened when you were born again, we can look at the shadows of the Old Testament. In the days of Moses and Solomon, when certain articles were anointed—like the golden lampstand or the altar—it meant they were separated.

1. Separation for Divine Use

Once those articles were anointed, they were “consecrated.” They were no longer “common.” You couldn’t take a bowl from the Temple to go eat lunch at home; it was separated unto God for divine ministry.

2. You are God’s Living Tabernacle

In the same way, when the Holy Spirit came into you, He performed a final act of consecration. You were separated as God’s living tabernacle. You are not consecrated because of a title, a degree, or a religious garment. You are consecrated by the presence of the Indwelling Spirit. * You are God’s property.

• You are His headquarters on earth.

• You are the “Holy of Holies” in motion.

III. NO MEASURE, NO LIMIT: THE FULLNESS OF THE SPIRIT

There is a common practice in many Christian circles where people constantly seek a “new anointing,” a “fresh fire,” or a “double portion.” While these phrases sound spiritual, they often reveal a lack of understanding regarding the New Birth.

According to John 3:34, “For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.” When you received the Holy Spirit, you didn’t receive a “portion” of Him. You didn’t receive a “measure” of Him. You received The Person. You cannot have a “double portion” of a Person! You have the fullness of the Spirit living in you right now.

The question is not “how much of the Spirit do you have?” but rather “how much of you does the Spirit have?” If you will trust what you have already received—if you will acknowledge the Resident Power within—you will begin to do amazing things. You don’t need a “new” anointing; you need to walk in the reality of the One you already have!

IV. LIVING FROM THE INSIDE OUT

Christianity is a life lived from the inside out. 1 Corinthians 6:19 asks a rhetorical question: “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you…?”

If you lived with the daily consciousness that the Creator of the universe, the One who anointed Jesus of Nazareth, is currently living in your physical body, your perspective on life would change.

Fear would vanish: Because “Greater is He that is in you” (1 John 4:4).

Sickness would bow: Because your body is His temple, and He is the Life-Giver.

Confusion would cease: Because the Teacher of all truth is resident in your heart.

You are sealed. You are established. You have the “earnest” (the down payment and guarantee) of the Spirit in your heart (2 Corinthians 1:21-22).

V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: WALKING IN THE INDWELLING POWER

Q1: If I have the ‘fullness’ of the Spirit, why do I sometimes feel ‘dry’ or powerless?

Answer: Feelings are not the barometer of spiritual reality. “Dryness” is often a result of a lack of fellowship, not a lack of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit hasn’t left you; He is a “well of water springing up” (John 4:14). You stir up that power by speaking in tongues, meditating on the Word, and acknowledging His presence.

Q2: How do I practically ‘trust what I’ve got’ during a crisis?

Answer: When a storm arises, don’t start begging God for “more power.” Instead, declare: “The Holy Spirit is in me! The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in my body/finances/family right now!” Trusting what you have means putting the Word to work.

Q3: Is there a difference between the ‘anointing’ and the ‘Holy Spirit’?

Answer: The anointing is the effect and the operation of the Holy Spirit in and through a man. It is the manifestation of His power. Since He lives in you, the capacity to manifest that power is always present. You don’t “wait” for the anointing; you yield to the Person who is the anointing.

VI. THE 2026 PROPHETIC CHALLENGE: THE ERA OF THE TABERNACLE

As we move through April 2026, the world is becoming more aware of the “spiritual.” But while others seek power in shadows, you must stand in the substance.

• You are the walking answer to the world’s problems.

• You are the vessel through which Christ “goes about doing good” today.

• You are not alone; you are “with God” because God is in you.

Refuse to live like an ordinary person. You are consecrated. You are set apart. Walk in the consciousness of the Resident Almighty today!

CONFESSION

Through the Holy Spirit who lives in me, I am consecrated as God’s living tabernacle, set apart for His divine purpose and holy ministry. I am not my own; I am bought with a price and possessed by the Spirit of the Living God. I refuse to seek what I already have; I trust the fullness of the Spirit resident within me. I walk in the reality of God’s power, I think with the mind of Christ, and I do amazing things for His glory. My body is the headquarters of the Almighty! Hallelujah!
