SCRIPTURE: “(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” (2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5, KJV)

“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (MATTHEW 18:18, KJV)

I. THE SPIRITUAL REALITY: SOUL WINNING IS WARFARE

As we navigate the month of February 2026, we must settle a fundamental truth: Soul winning is not a social invitation; it is a spiritual extraction. Whether you like it or not, the moment you decide to lead a soul to Christ, you have entered a theatre of war. You are not just inviting someone to change their religious affiliation; you are confronting a “strongman” who has invested years into keeping that soul in a state of spiritual incarceration.

Many believers are frustrated in evangelism because they treat it as a “casual gist” or a sales pitch. If you treat soul winning as a mere conversation, you will return with nothing but stories and a dry harvest. You must understand that there is an enemy of salvation—the god of this world—who has blinded the minds of those who believe not (2 Corinthians 4:4). When you see someone dodging simple questions, laughing at holy things, or suddenly becoming “too busy” the moment you mention the Gospel, do not be shocked. Something is fighting for that soul. Conversation alone does not break bars.

II. THE MECHANICS OF THE STRONGHOLD

What are the “chains” we are dealing with? 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 identifies them as Imaginations and High Things.

The Intellectual Barrier: These are arguments and philosophies—”theories” that the enemy has built in the mind to make the Gospel seem irrational or unnecessary.

The Emotional Chain: This is often the fear of man, the love of sin, or past hurts that act as a padlock on the heart.

The Environmental Hostility: This is the “Elymas” factor—human vessels used by the devil to distract, mock, or turn the hearer away from the faith (Acts 13:8).

Remember: You don’t free a prisoner by talking to his chains; you talk to the Jailer and you break the locks. You cannot argue a man into the Kingdom. Arguments only strengthen the walls of the stronghold. You must win the battle in the spirit before you utter a word in the natural.

III. TACTICAL Q&A: NAVIGATING THE BATTLEFIELD

Q1: How do I pull down a stronghold without being confrontational or weird?

Answer (Colossians 4:12): You pull it down in the “Secret Place” of prayer. Like Epaphras, you “labor fervently” in prayers for them. Before you talk to the man about God, talk to God about the man. Pull down the specific “imaginations” you sense are holding him.

Q2: What do I do when I encounter an ‘Elymas’—a person actively opposing the ministration?

Answer (Acts 13:9-11): Do not turn it into a public drama or a shouting match. Dealing with an Elymas requires spiritual discernment. Keep your spirit calm. Internally, bind the spirit of distraction. Often, the loudest critic is the one the enemy is most afraid of losing.

Q3: Why is authority not about volume?

Answer (Luke 10:19): Authority is about Identity, not Acoustics. A police officer doesn’t need to scream to stop a truck; he simply raises his hand because he represents the law. When you speak the Name of Jesus from a position of fellowship, the spirit world hears the “Badge,” not just the voice.

IV. THE “ISOLATION & ESTABLISHMENT” STRATEGY

In your quest to win souls this week, follow this tactical roadmap:

Isolate the Seeker: If you are witnessing to a group, identify the one whose heart is softening—the one concentrating. Isolate that person for a deeper ministration. It is better to win one soul thoroughly than to have ten people “half-heartedly” repeat a prayer.

The Immediate Follow-up: Conversion is the birth; follow-up is the nursing. Early neglect is why many converts slip away. The enemy will immediately try to “re-arrest” the escapee. You must be there to provide the Word and the fellowship that establishes them.

The Prayer Cover: Even after they are saved, keep pulling down the old architectures in their minds until Christ is fully formed in them (Galatians 4:19).

V. INTERCESSORY & PROPHETIC SUITE

A. Personal Petitions: For the Soul Winner

The Discernment Decree (Hebrews 5:14): Father, give me sharp spiritual eyes! Let me see the spirits behind the resistance. Help me to stop fighting people and start fighting the darkness that binds them, in Jesus’ Name!

The Authority Impartation (Luke 9:1): Lord, I receive a fresh mantle of power and authority over all devils! As I go out this week, let every word I speak be backed by the fire of the Holy Ghost to break every chain, in Jesus’ Name!

The Calm Spirit Grace (2 Timothy 1:7): Lord, keep my spirit calm in the face of mockery. Deliver me from irritation and the “need to win the argument.” Let Your love flow through me as a rescue agent, in Jesus’ Name!

B. Intercessory Requests: For the Lost

4. The Blinder-Removal Decree (2 Corinthians 4:6): Father, command the light to shine out of darkness! Remove the veils that the god of this world has put over the minds of my family members and colleagues. Let them see the glory of Christ today, in Jesus’ Name!

5. The Elymas Restraint (Psalm 2:1-4): Every human agent assigned to hinder the Gospel in my neighborhood, I bind your influence! I silence every voice of distraction and mockery, in Jesus’ Name!

C. Prophetic Declarations

6. The Prison Break (Isaiah 61:1): I decree that the prison doors are opening! The captives are coming out! This week, I shall return with a harvest of souls that are established and on fire for God!

7. The Harvest Security (John 10:28): Every soul I lead to Christ this week is secure! No man, no devil, and no circumstance shall pluck them out of the Father’s hand!

THOUGHT TO PONDER: Am I treating soul winning as talk, not warfare? Who will I focus on and follow up this week?

PRAYER: Lord, give me discernment and authority. Pull down strongholds and draw souls to Jesus today. Make me a master of spiritual rescue. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
