WHEN MERCY EXPLAINS WHAT POWER WILL FIX

THE CORE REVELATION: UNDERSTANDING BEFORE INTERVENTION
In the journey of faith, many believers are desperate for a “quick fix.” We want the mountain to move, the pain to cease, and the financial lack to vanish—and we want it to happen instantaneously by the raw power of God. While God is indeed a God of power, there is a divine protocol that we often overlook: Mercy often begins by helping you understand your situation before Power is released to fix it.
If you are crying out for a miracle but haven’t received clarity, it may be because God, in His mercy, is trying to explain the “why” and the “how” of your situation. Before power ends a matter, mercy exposes the truth behind it. Jesus provided a profound diagnosis of human struggle in Matthew 22:29: “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.” This verse reveals two great dangers that keep men in bondage:

Ignorance of God’s Word: Not knowing the legal provisions and spiritual laws that govern your inheritance.

Ignorance of God’s Power: Not knowing the capacity and the operation of the Holy Spirit.
Mercy is the bridge that closes these gaps. It does not leave you in a state of confusion. Instead, it opens your eyes so you can correctly identify what you are dealing with.
THE CASE STUDY: THE WOMAN WITH THE ISSUE OF BLOOD
Consider the woman in Mark 5:25–34. Scripture tells us she had a sickness, but more accurately, she had a prolonged problem that had turned her into a professional patient for twelve agonizing years. She had spent all her livelihood on physicians and was only getting worse.
Mercy began to work for her the moment she moved from guessing to understanding. She didn’t just stumble upon a miracle; she heard the truth about Jesus, processed it, and said in her heart, “If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.” Mercy enlightened her to see that her solution wasn’t in another doctor’s office, but in the hem of the garment of the Son of God.
When you stop guessing and start understanding where help truly lies, you are on the verge of your “Power encounter.”
THE DANGER OF MISDIAGNOSIS
Many believers suffer longer than necessary because they misdiagnose their situation. You cannot apply a natural solution to a supernatural problem, nor can you use a spiritual prayer to fix a problem rooted in simple physical disobedience.
Mercy helps you categorize your battles correctly:
Natural Problems: These require wisdom, discipline, and practical changes.
Supernatural Problems: These are demonic oppressions that require the raw power of the Anointing.
Rooted Problems: Issues growing from habits, toxic relationships, or a lifestyle of disobedience.
God does not teach His children lessons through affliction; oppression is the work of the devil (Acts 10:38). When mercy enlightens you, you realize that your problem is not unique, it is not permanent, and it is certainly not stronger than God. This shifts your posture from one of helplessness to one of joyful expectation.
THE DIVINE SEQUENCE: ENLIGHTENMENT BEFORE EMPOWERMENT
Mercy removes the paralyzing lie that “nothing can be done” and replaces it with the ironclad faith that something must be done because God is involved.
Today, allow mercy to correct your thinking:
Stop defining yourself by your battle: You are not “the sick person” or “the bankrupt man.” You are a candidate for God’s intervention.
Expect the Explanation: God often explains before He delivers. He wants you to learn the mechanics of victory so you can maintain your freedom once it arrives.
Watch Faith Rise: When understanding comes, faith rises naturally. And when faith rises, Power has no choice but to respond.
Remember: You are not stranded; you are being prepared for a divine resolution. When mercy shows you the truth about your situation, power will not be far behind.

Have I correctly understood the root of what I am dealing with? What truth from God’s Word do I need to embrace today to trigger the release of Power?

Father, by Your mercy, give me clarity and understanding today. Remove every veil of confusion from my eyes. Help me to see my situation exactly as it is, and prepare my heart for Your power to work a total resolution, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Q1: Why doesn’t God just fix my problem instantly without the ‘explanation’? Answer: God is more interested in your growth than just your comfort. If He fixes a problem without you understanding the root, you are likely to fall into the same trap again. Mercy educates your spirit so that once Power brings the deliverance, you have the wisdom to stay free.
Q2: How do I know if my problem is natural or supernatural? Answer: This is exactly why you need Mercy to “enlighten” you. Through the Word and the Holy Spirit, God will witness to your spirit. If a problem persists despite every physical remedy and logical effort, it is often a sign of a spiritual “lid” that requires an encounter with the Power of God.
Q3: Is my suffering a ‘test’ from God? Answer: Acts 10:38 makes it clear that Jesus healed those who were “oppressed of the devil.” God uses His Word to train us, but He does not use the works of the enemy (sickness, lack, or depression) as a curriculum. Mercy helps you reject the lie that your affliction is “God’s will,” allowing you to fight it with faith.
