THERE IS POWER IN YOUR HANDS: THE CONDUIT OF DIVINE VIRTUE

I. THE TOUCH THAT TERMINATES TERMINAL ILLNESS

As we enter the final Lord’s Day of March 2026, the Spirit of God is bringing us a vital revelation concerning our physical bodies. In the economy of Heaven, your hands are not merely tools for labor or social gestures; they are spiritual biological transmitters.

In our Bible reading (Mark 1:40–45), we see a man whose condition was the ancient world’s equivalent of a death sentence: Leprosy. In that era, leprosy was not just a medical crisis; it was a social and religious excommunication. Lepers were “untouchable.” Yet, when this man approached Jesus with a heart of faith, saying, “If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean,” Jesus did the unthinkable.

1. The Power of Contact

Jesus didn’t just speak the word from a distance. He put forth His hand and touched him. At that moment of physical contact, a spiritual exchange occurred. The “cleanness” in Jesus was more infectious than the leprosy in the man. Immediately, the disease departed.

2. The Peter Precedent

We see this again in Acts 3:1–11. Peter didn’t just pray for the lame man at the Beautiful Gate; he reached out and took him by the right hand. The Bible says that as he lifted him, the power of God flowed through Peter’s hands into the man’s ankle bones. This proves that the anointing is tangible and transferable through physical contact.

II. THE “GREATER WORKS” MANDATE

The most startling claim in the New Testament is found in John 14:12. Jesus said that he who believes on Him will do the same works He did, and even “greater works.”

Many Christians struggle to believe this in 2026 because they look at their own limitations. But you must realize that the power doesn’t originate from your muscles or your nerves; it originates from the Holy Spirit dwelling within you.

• If you are a child of God, you are anointed.

• Your hands are God’s chosen channels for healing, deliverance, and restoration.

• The “Signs” mentioned in Mark 16 are not reserved for the “special” elite; they are promised to “them that believe.”

III. PRACTICAL MINISTRY: THE BELIEVER IN THE MARKETPLACE

This power is not restricted to the four walls of a church building. It is meant to be exercised in hospitals, offices, and homes.

1. A Word to Medical Professionals

I often counsel Christian doctors and nurses: do not rely solely on your stethoscope and prescriptions. While God uses medical science, there is a limit to what science can do.

The Strategy: Before you administer treatment, ask for your patient’s permission to pray. Lay your hands on them. You may find yourself in a situation where the medical charts say “impossible.” That is the moment to hand the case over to the One who says, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

2. The Domestic Altar

Parents, when your children are unwell, don’t just reach for the medicine cabinet first. Reach for the “Power in your hands.” Lay hands on them. Let them grow up seeing the tangible power of God manifest through you. This builds a foundation of faith that no secular education can shake.

IV. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: ACTIVATING YOUR SPIRITUAL HANDS

Q1: Does the power in my hands depend on my ‘level of holiness’ at the moment?

Answer: The power is a gift from God based on the finished work of Christ. However, a lifestyle of holiness keeps the “channel” clear. Just as a dirty pipe can restrict the flow of clean water, persistent sin can hinder your confidence to use the power God has given you. Stay clean to stay potent.

Q2: What if I lay hands and the person doesn’t get healed immediately?

Answer: Mark 16:18 says, “They shall recover.” Recovery is sometimes an immediate miracle, and sometimes it is a process that begins the moment you touch them. Your job is to obey; God’s job is to heal. Never let a “delayed” result discourage you from future obedience.

Q3: Can I lay hands on myself for healing?

Answer: Absolutely! Your hands carry the same anointing when they touch your own body. If you have pain in your head, stomach, or heart, lay your own hands there and command the pain to leave in Jesus’ name. You are a priest unto God (Revelation 1:6).

V. A DECREE OF RESTORATION

Beloved, you must stop viewing yourself as “ordinary.” In 2026, the world is looking for solutions. There are people in your sphere of influence whose healing is literally “at your fingertips.”

When you exercise your faith and lay hands on the sick, you are acting as a “Co-worker” with Christ. You are giving the Holy Spirit a physical point of contact to release His virtue into the earth.

VI. REFLECTION & PROPHETIC PRAYER

THOUGHT TO PONDER:

If I am God’s channel of healing, how much “healing” am I currently keeping bottled up because I am too shy or fearful to lay my hands on someone?

PROPHETIC DECREE FOR MARCH 29TH:

I decree today that your hands are sanctified for signs and wonders! Every “deadness” in your hands is replaced by the fire of the Holy Ghost. From this Sunday, March 29th, 2026, you will no longer be afraid to touch the sick. I decree that as you lay hands, tumors will disappear, bones will be aligned, and terminal diseases will bow to the Name of Jesus. You are a walking hospital!

PRAYER POINTS:

For Activation: Father, I thank You for the power You have placed in my hands. I activate that power today by faith.

For Compassion: Lord, like Jesus, move me with compassion for the sick. Let me not be indifferent to the pains of others.

For Miraculous Results: Father, let every hand I lay on the sick result in a testimony. Confirm Your Word in my life with signs following.

For Self-Healing: I lay my hands on my own body [touch any area of need] and I command every root of infirmity to die, in Jesus’ Name.
