STICK TO THE WORD: THE ASCENDANCY OF TRUTH OVER FACTS

I. THE INFALLIBILITY OF THE LOGOS

As we move further into March 2026, a year defined by the rapid accumulation of data and human “facts,” the believer must anchor themselves in a reality that is higher than human information. The opening verse of our meditation today is a spiritual mandate: “Let God be true.” This isn’t just a suggestion for Sunday morning; it is a strategic positioning for a triumphant life.

In the Kingdom of God, the Word is not just a book of stories; it is a creative force. Hebrews 4:12 tells us the Word is “alive and active.” It doesn’t just describe reality; it produces what it talks about. If the Word says you are healed, that Word is currently working as a medicine in your physical cells. If the Word says you are prosperous, that Word is organizing your environment to produce wealth. The Word of God cannot fail because God is not a man that He should lie (Titus 1:2).

II. THE CONFLICT BETWEEN SENSE-KNOWLEDGE AND FAITH

Pastor Chris shares a powerful testimony that illustrates the friction between what we see with our eyes and what God says in His Word. During a meeting years ago, after praying for a blind man, the Lord clearly whispered, “He is healed.”

However, when asked, “Sir, can you see me?” the man replied with a definitive, “No.”

To the natural mind, this was a failure. The crowd began to laugh. Why? Because the world is governed by Sense-Knowledge—they believe only what they can see, touch, or smell. But the man of God stood firm on a higher platform. He declared, “God said this man has been healed, and God cannot lie.”

1. The Gap of Persistence

There is often a gap between the declaration of the Word and the manifestation of the Word. In those few minutes where the man insisted he was blind while the Word said he was healed, the battle was won by Sticking to the Word. Had the man of God wavered or aligned his confession with the man’s “fact,” the miracle would have been aborted. Within minutes, the man’s eyes popped open.

The Lesson: Never let your physical circumstances dictate your spiritual confession. If you align your mouth with the “fact” of the problem, you silence the “truth” of the solution.

III. TRUTH VS. FACTS: THE TRAGEDY OF THE WRONG REPORT

Perhaps the most chilling revelation in today’s message is the vision of the man diagnosed with cancer. In the vision, the Lord showed a man whose body was clinically clean—there was no cancer left. Yet, the Lord said, “He will die of cancer.”

When asked why, the response was a sobering warning for every believer: “Because he believes the report he was given.”

1. The Creative Power of Belief

This reveals a spiritual law: Your faith in a negative report can recreate the very thing God has removed.

The Fact: The medical diagnosis, the bank statement, the divorce papers.

The Truth: “By His stripes, you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24); “My God shall supply all your need” (Philippians 4:19).

The man in the vision died because his consciousness was occupied by the “fact” of the cancer rather than the “truth” of his healing. He chose to be a “witness” for the disease rather than a witness for the Word. In 2026, you are bombarded by reports—economic reports, health reports, social reports. If you “stick” to those reports, you will live and die by them. But if you stick to the Word, you will live by the Spirit.

IV. MIRRORING GLORY: THE PATH TO TRIUMPH

Many Christians today struggle with persistent flaws, bad habits, or “genetic” weaknesses. They say, “I have this temper,” or “I have this addiction,” or “I’m always broke.”

By saying “I have,” you are claiming ownership. You are “believing the report” of your flesh. 2 Corinthians 3:18 provides the remedy: we are changed into the image of the Lord as we “behold” Him in a glass (the mirror of the Word).

When you look into the Bible, you aren’t looking at a history book; you are looking at a Mirror. The Word shows you who you really are in Christ:

• It says you are a new creature.

• It says old things are passed away.

• It says you have the mind of Christ.

As you “stick” to that image and refuse to see the “flaw” the world points out, the Holy Spirit begins to realign your character to match the Word. Your life begins to blossom and “glow” from glory to glory.

V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: NAVIGATING THE WORD IN 2026

Q1: Is it ‘lying’ to say I am healed when I still feel pain in my body?

Answer: No. Speaking the Word is not “denying the existence of pain”; it is “denying the right of pain to exist in your body.” You are speaking a higher Truth. In the court of Heaven, the Word of God is the final legal evidence. When you speak the Word, you are simply agreeing with the Judge of the Universe.

Q2: How do I ‘stick to the Word’ when my situation has lasted for years?

Answer: Remember Isaiah 55:10-11. God’s Word is like rain. It might take time for the seed to germinate under the soil, but that rain will make the earth bring forth and bud. It cannot return void. Your job isn’t to make the Word work; your job is to keep the Word in your mouth and in your heart until the harvest appears.

Q3: Does ‘believing the wrong report’ apply to my finances too?

Answer: Absolutely. If you believe the report of the national inflation more than the report of God’s provision, you will experience the inflation. But if you stick to the Word, even in a famine, you will be like the tree in Jeremiah 17:8—you will not see when heat comes, and your leaf will remain green.

VI. REFLECTION & PROPHETIC DECREE

KEY PRINCIPLE: Your life is a reflection of the report you choose to believe. Stick to the Word, and you will surely have a testimony.

PROPHETIC DECREE FOR MARCH 18TH:

I decree that your ears are closed to the “report of the enemy” and your heart is open to the “Report of the Lord! From today, you shall not die the death of those who believe human facts. You are moving from glory to glory! Every cancer, every debt, and every spiritual flaw that has tried to attach itself to you is falling off now because you have chosen to believe the Truth. You are a victor in 2026!

PRAYER:

Dear Father, I thank You for the absolute reliability of Your Word. I choose to let You be true and every contrary circumstance a liar. I refuse to be moved by what I see, feel, or hear from the world. I am what the Word says I am. I have what the Word says I have. My life is an unveiling of Your glory, and I walk in total triumph today, in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen.
