SHARE THE GOOD NEWS (PART 1)

I. THE MANDATE OF THE DELIVERED

As we enter the first Saturday of April 2026, the Holy Spirit is highlighting a vital spiritual law: The Law of the Testimony. In our Bible reading from Mark 5, we encounter one of the most dramatic deliverances in the New Testament—the madman of Gadara. This man was so possessed that no chain could hold him, and no man could tame him. He lived among the tombs, crying out and cutting himself.

However, one encounter with Jesus changed everything. When the demons were cast out and the man was restored to his right mind, his first instinct was to follow Jesus. But Jesus gave him a different assignment: “Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee” (Mark 5:19).

1. The Purpose of Your Miracle

God does not bless you just for your own comfort; He blesses you to make you a billboard for His power. The man of Gadara became an evangelist in Decapolis. His testimony did what a hundred sermons might not have achieved—it provided living, breathing proof that Jesus is Lord.

2. The Multiplication Factor

Years ago, the Lord told me something profound: “The more you testify, the more miracles you get.” Testimony is not just a look backward at what God did; it is a seed sown for what He is about to do. When you share what God has done, you are effectively telling Him, “I am a faithful witness; You can trust me with more.”

II. THE SAMARITAN STRATEGY: “COME, SEE A MAN”

Consider the woman at the well in Sychar (John 4). She didn’t wait to attend a Bible college before she started sharing the good news. The moment she realized she was in the presence of the Messiah, she left her water pot—the very thing she came for—and ran into the city.

Her message was simple: “Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?” (John 4:29). She didn’t have a complex theological argument. She simply shared her experience. Because of her willingness to speak, an entire city was brought to the feet of Jesus. In 2026, people are tired of “religion,” but they are still hungry for “reality.” Your testimony is your reality.

III. TESTIFYING IN THE TIGHT PLACES

It is easy to testify when you are on the mountain top, but there is a special power in testifying when you are in the valley.

1. God Working “Extra Overtime”

A long time ago, I went through a season where things were incredibly difficult. The pressure was high and the resources were low. However, I made a covenant with my mouth. Whenever people asked, “Pastor, how are you doing?” I refused to complain. I would tell them, “God is working overtime in taking care of me.” Today, as I look back at where He has brought me from, I am even bolder. I tell everyone that God is now working “extra overtime” to take care of me. If you want to see God move on your behalf, stop broadcasting your problems and start broadcasting His faithfulness.

IV. THE DANGER OF SILENCE

2 Corinthians 4:3–4 warns us that if our Gospel is hid, it is hid to them that are lost. The “god of this world” (Satan) is working hard to blind the minds of unbelievers. Your silence helps the devil keep his veil over their eyes.

1. The Boldness of the Wicked

Have you noticed that people who worship idols and belong to secret cults are often very bold? They invite people to join them by showing off the “benefits” they claim to receive from the devil. They don’t hide their allegiance, even though the devil’s gifts always end in “multiplied sorrows” and “hidden consequences.”

If those who serve a defeated foe can be bold, how much more should we, the children of the Light, be vocal?

• Tell your co-workers how God gave you peace during the last company downsizing.

• Tell your neighbors how the Lord healed your child.

• Tell your friends how Jesus gave you a new beginning.

V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: BECOMING AN EFFECTIVE WITNESS

Q1: What if people laugh at my testimony or don’t believe me?

Answer: Your job is to share; God’s job is to convince. The madman of Gadara was laughed at by those who knew him before, but his transformed life eventually spoke louder than their mockery. Don’t worry about the reaction; focus on the assignment.

Q2: Should I share every miracle immediately?

Answer: Generally, yes. However, as the message notes, sometimes God may tell you to wait for a specific time to share (like Jesus did with the disciples after the Transfiguration). If you feel a “check” in your spirit, wait. Otherwise, Psalm 107:2 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.”

Q3: How do I share the Good News during this Easter season?

Answer: Use the season as a conversation starter. Easter is about the Resurrection—it’s about “Life.” Ask people, “Do you know the power of the one who rose from the grave?” Invite them to “Taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).

VI. REFLECTION & PROPHETIC PRAYER

THOUGHT TO PONDER:

If my life were the only “Bible” my neighbors ever read, what would they know about the goodness of God?

PROPHETIC DECREE FOR APRIL 4, 2026:

I decree that your mouth is opened today to speak of the wonders of God! Every spirit of “shame” or “timidity” that has kept you silent is broken now. In this month of April, I decree that as you share your testimonies, you shall receive a “Harvest of Miracles.” Because you have decided not to hide His righteousness, God will make you a spectacle of His glory. You shall not be the “lost” who are hidden, but the “light” that shines for all to see!

PRAYER POINTS:

For Boldness: Father, give me the boldness of a lion. Help me to never be ashamed of the Gospel or what You have done for me.

For Opportunity: Lord, open doors for me today to share my testimony with someone who is currently under the devil’s bondage.

For Consistency: Father, let my life match my testimony. Let people see the “Light” in me and give You the glory.

For Souls: Lord, as I speak this Easter season, let the veil be removed from the eyes of my friends and family.
