NO SUCH THING AS LACK: THE REALITY OF THE LARGE PLACE

MESSAGE BY: PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME

SCRIPTURE: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — (PHILIPPIANS 4:19)

I. BEYOND THE ILLUSION OF SCARCITY

As we embark on this glorious Saturday, April 11th, 2026, the Holy Spirit is intensifying a truth we touched upon in our previous study: your relocation into the Kingdom of God’s Dear Son was a relocation into a realm of unending, boundless, and exhaustless riches. For the person who is born again, “lack” is not a reality; it is an illusion created by a worldly mindset. When you were born into Christ, you were brought into what the Psalmist calls a “large place” (Psalm 18:19). This is not just a physical space, but a spiritual estate of wealth untold and resources unlimited. In this realm, the word “shortage” has been deleted from the dictionary of the Spirit. If you are experiencing lack, it is not because the supply has dried up; it is because your “mental frequency” is tuned to the wrong station.

II. THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE SPIRITUAL MENTALITY

One of the most vital lessons for a child of God is learning that your life is a reflection of your consciousness. The world wants to measure you by its limitations—inflation rates, stock market volatility, and employment statistics. But you must refuse to be measured by the metrics of men.

1. Rejecting “Projected” Limitations

The person who thinks lack assumes that everyone else is also in lack. They view the world through a lens of “not enough.” Similarly, someone in chronic pain often assumes that pain is the universal standard. But you are different! You are from above (John 8:23). You are not a victim of the earth’s economy; you are a participant in Heaven’s supply.

  • Don’t allow the “pain” or “poverty” of others to dictate your expectations.

  • Don’t allow the “scarcity” talk of the media to find a home in your heart.

2. The Excellence of the New Creation

Your divine nature must reflect in every fiber of your existence. This includes the excellence of your health and the excellence of your finances. You are a child of the King! If the Father is the possessor of Heaven and Earth, it is an inconsistency for the heir to live in squalor. Align your thoughts, your speech, and your expectations with the fact that you serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills.

III. FUNCTIONING FROM THE REALM OF ABUNDANCE

Many people spend their lives praying “from a position of need.” They tell God how big their problem is. But as a joint-heir with Christ, you must learn to function from the realm of abundance.

1. Heaven’s Supply Chain

You don’t “come” from a place of need; you come from a place of overflow. The Lord Jesus didn’t suffer the agony of the cross for a “marginal” life. He died to bring you into Sonship. As a son, you aren’t an outsider begging for crumbs; you are an insider with a key to the treasury.

  • Romans 8:17 declares you are an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ.

  • This means all things—present and future—are yours now.

2. Endless Resources

There is money for you everywhere. There are resources laid up in the spirit and in the physical world to execute every assignment God has committed to your hands. The doors are not “about to open”; they are already open. The supply is not “coming”; it is endless. Your job is to act like the Word is true, because it is!

IV. THE PSALM 34:10 PRINCIPLE: THE LION VS. THE SEEKER

The Bible makes a startling comparison: “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing” (Psalm 34:10 NIV).

The lion is the king of the jungle—the symbol of natural strength and predatory ability. Yet, the Bible says even the strongest “lion” in the natural world can suffer hunger and weakness. Why? Because natural strength is limited. However, the one who seeks the Lord operates by a different law. Even when the “natural” systems are failing and the “lions” of industry are starving, the seeker of the Lord stays in the overflow. You lack no good thing because your supply is not tied to the “jungle” of this world; it is tied to the Riches in Glory.

V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: OPERATING IN SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY

Q1: If there is ‘no such thing as lack,’ why do I sometimes have unpaid bills?

Answer: An unpaid bill is a “fact,” but it is not the “Truth.” The Truth is that your needs are supplied. The gap between the fact and the Truth is bridged by your faith and confession. If you acknowledge the lack, you empower it. If you acknowledge the supply, you activate it. Stop talking to God about the bill; talk to the bill about your God!

Q2: How do I practically ‘refuse lack’ when I feel it?

Answer: By a conscious act of the will. When the thought of lack comes, immediately counter it with a scriptural decree. Say, “I refuse to reason from the realm of need. I function from Heaven’s supply. I have more than enough!” You must dominate your feelings with the Word.

Q3: What does ‘self-sufficient’ mean in 2 Corinthians 9:8 (AMPC)?

Answer: It means “possessing enough to require no aid or support.” It is a state where you are so full of God’s favor and earthly blessings that you are the one helping others, rather than being the one constantly looking for help. It is the position of a dispenser.

VI. THE 2026 MANDATE: THE DISPENSER OF BLESSINGS

In this year 2026, the world will see a clear distinction between those who live by the earth and those who live by the Word. You are called to be a Dispenser of Blessings. * You aren’t just blessed so you can “have”; you are blessed so you can “give.”

  • You are a giver of good things, a financier of the Gospel, and a restorer of lives.

The “Large Place” is your permanent address. Stay there. Speak from there. Live from there.

VII. REFLECTION & PROPHETIC ALIGNMENT

THOUGHT TO PONDER:

If I am a joint-heir with Christ, who owns the universe, is there any project too expensive for my Father? The only limitation is the one I permit in my mind.

CONFESSION:

I walk in Christ’s boundless and inexhaustible supply today! I am tuned to the frequency of His unsearchable riches. I utterly refuse to acknowledge lack or limitation. All things are mine! I live in supernatural supply every single day of 2026. I operate in divine abundance and walk in the full manifestation of my inheritance in Christ. I am not a seeker of help; I am a dispenser of blessings and a giver of good things. I fulfill God’s purpose with excellence and overflow, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
