MESSAGE: FROM MERE CRITIC TO ACTIVIST WITH A SOLUTION
In today’s world, it’s easier than ever to voice an opinion. Social media platforms and public forums have turned everyone into a potential critic. We see problems everywhere—in our governments, our churches, our communities, and our personal lives. It’s one thing to point out what’s wrong; it’s another thing entirely to be a vessel for change. The question for every Christian is not just, “Do you see the problem?” but rather, “Are you a mere critic or an activist with a solution?”
This distinction is crucial. A mere critic stands on the sidelines, observing and complaining. They identify flaws and injustices, but their contribution often stops there. An activist with a solution, on the other hand, is a force for good. They don’t just see the problem; they are moved by the Holy Spirit to be a part of the answer. Their approach is not fueled by anger but by a divine call to build up, to restore, and to bring light into darkness.
