SCRIPTURE READING: ISAIAH 62:1–5; MARK 9:29“
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” (Mark 9:29, KJV)
I. THE CLASSIFICATION OF BATTLES
As we move deeper into the first month of 2026, the Holy Spirit is intensifying our training in spiritual warfare. Yesterday, we began exploring the “Mystery of This Kind,” and today, we go further into the revelation of “Classification.”
The Lord wants you to understand that not all battles are created equal. In the spiritual realm, there are KINDS of oppositions. Consider the realm of physical health: there is a “kind” of headache that responds to a simple glass of water or a few minutes of rest. There is another “kind” that responds to medical science and pharmaceutical intervention. However, there is a third “kind” that mocks medicine and defies clinical diagnosis. This “kind” is spiritual in origin and requires a spiritual solution.
The same applies to your finances. There are poverty issues that respond to diligent hard work, financial literacy, and the obedience of economic laws. However, there is a KIND of poverty—generational, ancestral, or programmed by the pits of hell—that will not budge even if you work twenty-four hours a day. It is a “kind” that requires a specific spiritual frequency to be broken.
II. THE LIMITATIONS OF SPEECH AND SOWING
We must be mature in our understanding of the Word. Some challenges in 2026 will bow the moment you SPEAK THE WORD. You declare it, and it happens. This is the realm of prophetic decree.
But never forget the “Mystery of This Kind.” There are battles bearing the same name as the ones you’ve won before that will NEVER respond to just declarations. There are some mountains that will not move because you spoke to them; they will only move because you starved the flesh that was giving them a foothold.
Similarly, some battles bow to the law of sowing and reaping (Giving). But there is a “kind” of demonic entanglement that will not be settled by your seed alone. If you try to pay your way out of a battle that requires FASTING AND PRAYER, you will only end up frustrated. In this year 2026, you must accurately diagnose your challenge. Is it a “normal” challenge, or is it “THIS KIND”?
III. THE PROTOCOL OF THE PALACE: FASTING TO REDUCE SELF
Fasting is not a hunger strike designed to manipulate God. Rather, as the late Bill Bright once noted, “Fasting reduces the power of self so that the Holy Spirit can do a more intense work within us.” When you fast, you are not making God more powerful; you are making yourself more sensitive. You are silencing the noise of the “Palace” (your comforts, your appetites, your ego) so that you can hear the frequency of the Spirit. Fasting thins the veil between your current reality and your prophetic destiny.
In Isaiah 62:1–5, God promises that His people shall no longer be termed “Forsaken” or “Desolate.” Instead, you shall be called “BEULAH LAND” (Married) and “HEPHZIBAH” (My Delight Is In Her). This is the transition from the wilderness to the palace. But to transition into Beulah Land, you must be willing to engage the “This Kind” protocol.
IV. THE JANUARY MANDATE: 21 DAYS OF TRANSFORMATION
Never envy others whose breakthroughs seem “easy.” Every challenge has an expiry date, but that date is often determined by your willingness to apply the correct spiritual key.
We are preparing for the 21-day worldwide fasting programme (January 10th – 30th, 2026). This is not just a routine exercise; it is a strategic strike against the “This Kind” challenges that followed you from 2025.
- Do not approach this fast with a casual mindset.
- Do not pray and fast in vain.
- Use the first four Sunday mornings of January for the Anointing Services (8:00 AM daily), where I will be laying hands on your prayer expectations.
I see CONGRATULATION SONGS being composed in your honor this year. What looked like a permanent scar will become a “New Signature” of God’s glory.
PRAYER POINTS & PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
WORSHIP: Sing your best song of worship to the King of kings. Acknowledge Him as the Master of the Universe.
IDENTITY: I decree that in 2026, I shall be called “BEULAH LAND.” I am the bride of Christ, and the Covenant between my soul and my God is renewed today!
DIVINE PROVISION: Because I am His bride, the Lord will withhold NOTHING GOOD from me this year. My fasting shall not be in vain, and my prayers shall bring down rain!
THE “THIS KIND” DECREE: I use the “Mystery of This Kind” against every stubborn issue in my life. (Mention that specific sickness, debt, or delay now). I command you to bow to the power of fasting and prayer in Jesus’ name!
THE 21-DAY FAST: Lord, use the upcoming 21-day fast to SIGN A NEW SIGNATURE on my destiny. Wrap me in Your Glory and let the world see that I serve a living God!
MERCY: Father, gather me with great mercy this year. Let Your favor compensate for every year of desolation.
