REVERSING THE IRREVERSIBLE

I. THE ONTOLOGY OF THE ALMIGHTY

As we step into this second Saturday of April 2026, the Holy Spirit is inviting us to contemplate a dimension of God that defies human logic and scientific finality: The God who reverses the irreversible. To understand how a situation can be “reversed,” we must first look at the nature of the One who does the reversing. Our God is not merely a “better” version of human experts; He exists in a category all by Himself.

The Almighty (Genesis 17:1): He possesses all might. There is no power held in reserve that He cannot tap into.

The God of All Flesh (Jeremiah 32:27): This title specifically addresses His authority over biological matter. If it is made of cells, atoms, or “flesh,” it must obey His command.

The Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8): Because He is the Beginning and the Ending, He exists outside the linear constraints of time. In Him, your past, your present, and your future collide. He can reach into your “past” to fix a mistake that is affecting your “present,” effectively reversing the timeline of your trouble.

II. THE ANATOMY OF HOPELESSNESS: THE VALLEY OF DRY BONES

In our Bible reading today (Ezekiel 37:1-10), we find the Prophet Ezekiel in a “Valley of Dry Bones.” Notice the description: the bones were not just dead; they were “very many” and “very dry.

Dryness in scripture symbolizes the total absence of life-sustaining marrow or moisture. From a medical or biological standpoint, this situation was irreversible. There was no heart to jumpstart, no blood to transfuse, and no brain activity to monitor. It was a graveyard of “absolute zero” hope.

1. The Question of Faith

God asked Ezekiel, “Son of man, can these bones live?” This is the same question God is asking you regarding your “dry” business, your “dead” womb, or your “failed” marriage in 2026. Ezekiel’s answer was the only correct one: “O Lord GOD, thou knowest.” He deferred to the sovereignty of the Almighty.

2. The Mechanics of the Reversal

The reversal happened in stages, proving that God often works through a process of Divine Order:

  • The Word: Ezekiel prophesied to the bones.

  • The Structure: Bone came to bone, sinews appeared, and skin covered them.

  • The Breath: He prophesied to the wind (the Ruach—the Holy Spirit).

The result was not just a few living people, but an exceeding great army. When God reverses your hopeless situation, He doesn’t just bring you back to where you were; He makes you better and stronger than before the “death” occurred.

III. MODERN-DAY MIRACLES: BEYOND MEDICAL FINALITY

We serve the God of the 21st century just as much as the God of Ezekiel’s time. I remember a testimony of a man who was suffering from chronic kidney failure. He was spending ₦200,000 every single week on dialysis just to stay alive. In the world of medicine, once kidneys reach a certain level of decay, the only “hope” is a transplant—and even then, the body might reject the new organ.

This man was sitting in the congregation during one of our services when a word of knowledge came: “Receive your healing.” Without a surgeon’s knife or a donor’s sacrifice, the Almighty God bypassed the laws of biology and gave him creative miracles. His kidneys were “reversed” from death to life.

I have heard testimonies of Genotype Reversals—where the Almighty God changes a person’s blood from SS to AA. Science says this is impossible because it involves changing the genetic code in every cell of the body. But for the One who wrote the code, editing a “typo” in your DNA is a small matter.

IV. THE QUALIFICATION FOR A REVERSAL: HELPLESSNESS

You might ask, “Why does God choose certain situations to intervene in?” In my years of walking with the Lord, I have discovered a profound secret: God delights in helping the helpless.

If you still have a “Plan B,” you might not see the God of Reversals. But when you are like those dry bones—completely incapable of helping yourself—you become a prime candidate for a miracle.

Psalm 46:1 calls Him a “very present help in trouble.” The word “present” means He is already there on the scene before you even start praying. He is not a distant observer; He is an active participant in your crisis.

V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: NAVIGATING THE IMPOSSIBLE

Q1: How do I handle a ‘dry bone’ situation that has lasted for years?

Answer: The bones in Ezekiel’s valley had been there long enough to become “very dry.” Time is not an obstacle to God. Whether your problem is 38 years old (like the man at Bethesda) or “very dry” (like Ezekiel’s bones), the Word of the Lord can still penetrate it. Do not let the duration of the problem discourage your faith.

Q2: What is my role in ‘Reversing the Irreversible’?

Answer: Your role is to Prophesy. God told Ezekiel to “Prophesy upon these bones.” You must speak the Word of God over your situation. If the doctor says “Incurable,” you must say “Healed.” If the bank says “Bankrupt,” you must say “Provided.” You must align your mouth with God’s “Reversal Policy.

Q3: Can God reverse a situation caused by my own past mistakes?

Answer: Yes. Because He is the Alpha and Omega, His mercy can reach back into your past. He told the Israelites He would “restore the years that the locust hath eaten” (Joel 2:25). He doesn’t just fix the present; He compensates for the lost time of the past.

VI. THE 2026 PROPHETIC VISION

In this year 2026, many systems of the world are being shaken. Many are finding that their “trusty” solutions are failing. This is the year where the Church must showcase the God who is a Refuge and Strength.

If your back is against the wall today, do not look at the wall; look at the God who can make the wall crumble or turn it into a door. Your help does not come from the government, your employer, or your intellect. Your help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2).

VII. REFLECTION & PROPHETIC ALIGNMENT

THOUGHT TO PONDER:

Is there anything too hard for the God who spoke the universe into existence? If He can put breath back into dry bones, He can put life back into your dreams.

PROPHETIC DECREE FOR APRIL 11, 2026:

I decree today that every “Irreversible” decree issued against your life is hereby rescinded by the Court of Heaven! I command life to enter into every “dry bone” situation in your family, your health, and your career! Every medical report that says “Hopeless” is being rewritten by the Finger of God right now! I decree that you shall not just survive this trouble; you shall emerge as a leader of an “exceeding great army.” The God of the Reversal has stepped into your Saturday, and your testimony shall be great, in Jesus’ Name!

PRAYER:

Father, I thank You because You are the Almighty. I thank You because my case is not too difficult for You. Lord, please arise for my help today. In every area where men have told me it is “too late” or “impossible,” show Yourself as the Alpha and Omega. Reverse the irreversible in my life and let the world know that You are the Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
