RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL
MESSAGE BY: PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME
THE FULLNESS OF THE BLESSINGS OF CHRIST: LIVING IN THE OVERFLOW
SCRIPTURE: “And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.” — (ROMANS 15:29)
I. THE APOSTOLIC CONFIDENCE: A LIFE WITHOUT SHORTAGE
As we celebrate this Thursday, April 9th, 2026, the Holy Spirit is elevating our consciousness to a level of spiritual existence that many have deemed unreachable. In Romans 15:29, the Apostle Paul makes a staggering claim. He didn’t say, “I hope to bring a blessing,” or “I will try to be a blessing.” He said, “I am sure… I shall come in the fullness of the blessing.”
This was not arrogance; it was an awareness of his estate in Christ. Paul understood that the Gospel is not just a message of “escaping hell,” but a transport system into a life of absolute completeness. To walk in the “fullness of the blessing” means to live in a state where there is no lack, no disadvantage, and no “dry seasons.” It is a life where the grace of God is not just present but is exceeding and abundant.
II. THE NEW CREATION’S ADVANTAGE
You must realize that walking in this fullness is not a special “VIP privilege” reserved for the Twelve Apostles or for “super-ministers.” It is the legal heritage of every new creation. Being born again, you have been “called” into this state.
1. The Divine Budget (The “Daily Bread” Principle)
In the prayer the Lord Jesus taught His disciples, He included the line: “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). This is more than a request for a loaf of bread; it reveals a heavenly kingdom protocol.
-
Our Heavenly Father has a daily budget for you.
-
There is a divine provision set aside specifically for you, timestamped for today, April 9th.
-
This budget covers your spiritual needs, your physical health, your financial requirements, and your mental peace.
God is not a “lump-sum” provider who gives you a blessing once a year and leaves you to manage it. He is a daily provider. If you are not walking in daily provision, it is not because the supply has failed; it is because you haven’t yet learned to “collect” from your heavenly account.
III. THE DOCTRINE OF “SPIRITUAL ARREARS”
One of the most liberating truths the Spirit is revealing to us today is the concept of accumulated blessings. Perhaps for years, you lived in ignorance. You didn’t know that you were entitled to divine health. You didn’t know you were entitled to surplus. You didn’t know that “all things are yours.”
Does that mean those provisions were lost? No! The Bible says God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3). If you didn’t “collect” or manifest those blessings over the past years, they have accumulated for you as arrears.
Today, you can call them forth! You can declare: “In the name of Jesus, I claim the arrears of my peace, my prosperity, and my health that I failed to acknowledge in the past. I call them into manifestation now!” God’s warehouse is never overstocked; it is your responsibility to make the withdrawal through your confessions.
IV. WHY WE DISTRIBUTE THE GLORY
Walking in the fullness of the blessing of Christ changes your motivation for ministry and giving. We don’t give to “get”; we give because we are dispensers.
-
We serve because we have an overflow to share.
-
We reach others with the love of Christ because we are full of it.
-
We distribute the Word of God in every known language because we want every human being to escape the “poverty of ignorance” and enter the “glorious liberty of the sons of God.
When you know you have “all grace” abounding toward you (2 Corinthians 9:8), you become a “self-sufficient” person—possessing enough to require no aid or support, and furnished in abundance for every good work.
V. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: WALKING IN THE FULLNESS
Q1: If I am in the ‘fullness of the blessing,’ why do I still face challenges?
Answer: Challenges are not a sign of the absence of the blessing; they are the opportunities for the blessing to be demonstrated. When Paul said he was coming in the “fullness,” he was still facing shipwrecks and persecutions. The difference is that the “fullness” ensures that the challenge never defeats you. You have a “divine advantage” that turns every obstacle into a testimony.
Q2: How do I practically ‘acknowledge’ the blessing every day?
Answer: By your speech. Your mouth is the steering wheel of your life. If you say, “I’m broke” or “I’m struggling,” you are acknowledging a lie. Instead, say: “I am blessed with all spiritual blessings. I walk in the fullness of Christ’s supply today. I have no lack!” Acknowledging the truth is what activates the reality.
Q3: What is the ‘abundant blessing’ mentioned in the AMPC version of Romans 15:29?
Answer: The word “abundant” implies a quantity that goes beyond what is needed. It’s the “cup running over” dimension. It means you have enough for yourself and enough to be a solution to someone else’s problem.
VI. THE 2026 REALITY: A LIFE OF SURPLUS
In this year 2026, make the firm decision to enjoy your life in Christ. You were not called to a life of “just enough” or “hardly making it.” According to 1 Peter 3:9, you were called to inherit a blessing.
Stop looking at the economic indicators of the world and start looking at the “Fullness of Christ.” There is no inflation in heaven. There is no recession in the Spirit. As a dispenser of blessings, your life is meant to improve every environment you enter. You are a light-bearer, a life-saver, and a carrier of the “exceeding grace” of God.
VII. REFLECTION & PROPHETIC ACTIVATION
THOUGHT TO PONDER:
If I am an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ, why should I ever speak the language of “not enough”?
PROPHETIC DECREE FOR APRIL 9, 2026:
I decree today that you are stepping out of the realm of “seeking for blessings” into the realm of being the blessing! I command every delayed provision and every “spiritual arrear” to manifest in your hands this week! I decree that your “daily bread” for this Thursday is served in abundance. You shall walk in unending divine advantages. In your business, your career, and your family, the “Fullness of Christ” shall be visible to all. You are a dispenser of grace, and your life is a testimony of surplus, in Jesus’ Name!
PRAYER:
Dear Father, thank You for bringing me into the fullness of the blessing of the Gospel. I acknowledge that in Christ, I have all I need and more! I walk in surplus and enjoy unending divine advantages today. I refuse to live a small life; I embrace the greatness You have called me into. I am a dispenser of blessings, improving lives and fulfilling Your perfect will by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
