I. THE TRANSITION TO A NEW JURISDICTION
As we enter the second Tuesday of March 2026, we must recognize that being born again is more than a change of religion—it is a change of jurisdiction. You have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. This new life is, fundamentally, a life under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
However, a tragedy exists in the modern Church: many Christians are “saved,” but they are not yet “Lordship-conscious.” They acknowledge Jesus as Savior on Sundays, but they function as their own masters from Monday to Saturday. When you declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life, you are making a legal and spiritual decree that His Word has become the supreme authority over your finances, your health, your career, and your relationships.
II. THE MIRROR OF LORDSHIP: THE WORD OF HIS GRACE
The Lordship of Christ is not a mystical feeling; it is expressed practically through the Lordship of His Word. You cannot claim to be submitted to Jesus if you are not submitted to what He has said.
In Acts 20:32, the Apostle Paul “commends” us to two things: God and the Word of His Grace.
The Builder: This Word is a construction tool; it is able to “build you up.” It adds layers of strength, character, and spiritual stamina to your life.
The Distributor: This Word “gives you an inheritance.” The inheritance is already yours legally, but it is the Word of His Grace that reveals it, explains it, and places it in your hands for daily use.
When you function in the consciousness of His Lordship, you stop trying to “make things happen” by your own wisdom. Instead, you look into the Word to see what the Lord has said, and you align your life accordingly.
III. SPIRITUAL DIETETICS: WATCHING WHAT YOU HEAR
Because Lordship is tied to the Word, you cannot afford to be “casual” about the information you consume. In this digital age of 2026, voices are everywhere—social media, news, secular philosophies, and unscriptural traditions.
The Filter of Grace:
The Word of His Grace is specific. It unveils Christ and His finished work. It imparts faith and boldness. This is why you must be intentional about the “atmosphere” of your spirit. If you listen to “just anything,” you will find your consciousness of Christ’s Lordship beginning to fade, replaced by the consciousness of world problems, sickness, and lack. To live perpetually under the authority of the Word, you must saturate your environment with the Word of Christ (Colossians 3:16).
IV. COMPREHENSIVE Q&A: FROM HEARING TO DOING
Q1: How do I practically make the Word the “Supreme Authority” in my life?
Answer: It starts with a decision. When you face a crisis, ask yourself: “What does the Word say about this?” If the doctor says “chronic” but the Word says “healed,” the Word is the supreme authority. You choose to speak and act based on the Word, regardless of the physical symptoms. That is Lordship in action.
Q2: What is the “Meekness” mentioned in James 1:21?
Answer: Meekness is teachability. It is a “yielding” spirit. To receive the “engrafted word,” you must set aside your own opinions and the “superfluity of naughtiness” (the noise of the world) and let the Word take root in your soul.
Q3: Why does James 1:23-24 compare a hearer to someone looking in a mirror?
Answer: The Word is God’s mirror. When you look into it, you see the “real you”—the new creature in Christ. If you hear the Word but don’t do it, you are like a person who sees they have a smudge on their face in a mirror but walks away without cleaning it. Doing the Word is the act of aligning your reality with the image you see in the Mirror of Grace.
V. REFLECTION & CONFESSION SUITE
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Lordship is not a title we give Jesus; it is a reality we live by submitting to His Word.
PROPHETIC WORD FOR MARCH:
I decree that in this month of March, the Word of God shall prevail in your life! Every area where you have struggled with indecision is receiving clarity as you submit to the Lordship of Christ. You are moving from the level of a hearer to the level of a doer, and the blessing of God shall be manifest in all your deeds!
CONFESSION:
I am fully yielded to the authority of God’s Word—the Word of His grace that builds me, strengthens me, and positions me in my inheritance in Christ. I am growing, making progress, and manifesting the glory of God in ever-increasing measure because I am a doer of the Word. The Word of God is my life, my compass, and my all. Hallelujah!
