THE MASTER’S MEDITATION SERIES

BIBLE READING: PSALM 139:7–24
Reflecting on the nature of THE OMNIPOTENT OMNIPRESENT AND OMNISCIENT GOD helps us understand our place in the universe.
“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:23–24)
I. THE ONTOLOGY OF THE THREE OMNIS: UNDERSTANDING THE ABSOLUTE
As we navigate the complexities of 2026, a year filled with rapid technological surveillance and global shifts, the believer must anchor their soul in a much higher reality: the absolute attributes of the Almighty. Psalm 139 is not merely a poem of comfort; it is a Forensic Document describing the inescapable nature of God’s sovereignty. To understand our place in the universe, we must first understand the “Three Omnis”:
Omniscience (All-Knowing): God possesses a perfect, non-sequential, and exhaustive knowledge of all things—past, present, future, and even the “might-have-beens.” He does not “learn”; He simply knows.
Omnipresence (All-Present): God is not limited by spatial dimensions. There is no coordinate in the universe—from the highest heaven to the depths of Sheol—where He is not fully present.
Omnipotence (All-Powerful): God possesses infinite power. There is no resistance that can thwart His will, and no “giant” that can withstand His decree.
When these three attributes intersect in the life of a believer, the result is a life of Total Accountability and Total Security.
II. THE OMNISCIENT PROGRAMMER: THE UNFORMED BODY
David declares in the text that God’s eyes saw his “unformed body” (Golemi). Before you were a biological reality, you were a Digital Thought in the mind of the Omniscient God.
The Blueprint of Existence: Every day of your life in 2026 was “written in His book” before one of them came to be. This means your struggles, your victories, and even your mistakes have been factored into His divine plan.
The Breath of Survival: We are entirely dependent on His life-force. The Omnipotent God sustains your heartbeat and your breath. If He were to withdraw His Spirit, we would return to the dust. This realization should move us from “Self-Reliance” to “Total Yielding.”
III. THE OMNIPRESENT WITNESS: THE RECORD OF DEEDS
In a world that prizes “Publicity” and “Social Media Validation,” the Omnipresent God reminds us that the most significant acts are often the ones done in secret.
The Unseen Service: Every hidden act of evangelism, every late-night intercession, every cup of water given in His name, and every “Follow-up” call that no one thanked you for—all are witnessed by the God who fills the earth.
The Comfort of Presence: “Whither shall I go from thy spirit?” (v. 7). For the world, God’s omnipresence is a threat; for the believer, it is the ultimate comfort. You are never alone in your hospital room, your boardroom, or your secret place of prayer. He is there.
IV. THE SEARCHLIGHT OF HOLINESS: SEARCHING THE INTENTIONS
The climax of the passage is David’s invitation for a Divine Audit: “Search me, O God, and know my heart.” The Omniscient God knows what you are thinking before the word is on your tongue. He discerns the “Why” behind the “What.”
Deception and Pride: Our hearts are “deceitful above all things,” but they are transparent to Him. He sees the pride that masks itself as humility and the fear that masks itself as caution.
The Way Everlasting: The purpose of this search is not condemnation, but Correction. We ask God to “test” our thoughts so that He can identify the “wicked ways” (Oseph)—the painful or idolatrous paths—and redirect us into the “Way Everlasting.
V. CONCLUSION: THE POSTURE OF THE CLAY
Today’s message is a call to total surrender. In 2026, do not try to hide from the One who is everywhere. Do not try to keep secrets from the One who knows everything. Instead, yield like clay in the hands of the Potter.
The Omnipotent God, who can do “exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think,” is waiting for you to open your heart. Tell Him your anxieties. Confess your struggles. Share your aspirations. When you live in transparency before Him, His Omnipotence becomes your strength, His Omniscience becomes your wisdom, and His Omnipresence becomes your peace.

The Divine Audit: “Search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my anxieties; see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”
For Total Reliance: Father, I yield my life to You. I acknowledge that my breath and my days are in Your hands. I move from self-effort to Spirit-reliance today!
For Miraculous Intervention: O Omnipotent God, arise! Do exceedingly above all I have asked or thought regarding my family, my health, and my assignment in this year 2026!
For Secret Rewards: Father, let every seed of service I have sown in secret be recognized by Your Omnipresence. Reward me openly according to Your mercy, in Jesus’ name!
